Formula Poems

An exercise from creative writing class.  Write this poem: The first line consists of an abstraction, plus a verb, plus a place. The second line describes attire. The third line summarizes an action. Let it flow; don’t worry too much about making sense.

exhaustion lumbers through the field,

draped in blankets,

trampling the poppies
